Reading is an essential part of language learning, we believe that children should be actively encouraged to read, and taught to appreciate books. Unfortunately, this is seldom the case in Hong Kong, with many learners being reluctant to pick up a book at all. Our unique reading program teaches and develops reading skills, and turns reluctant non-readers into readers. Our reading programme is highly effective and progress is often rapid and noticeable after only a short period.

To facilitate our reading programme we have an extensive lending library and students are encouraged to join “Read to Excel”, our reading club. Read to Excel was established to foster a love of books and reading amongst our students.
