21st July 2006 ‘Pen Competition' in aid of UNICEF

Thank you to all those who participated in our UNICEF Pen Competition. Chen Yee Lok & Ivan Wong were the lucky winners of the giant Mug Mug’s, congratulations!

21st October 2005 Stationary Donation and visit to Phaya Thai Babies Home, Bangkok.

A huge thank you to all of you who donated stationary and cash. Last weekend, all English Excel staff flew into Bangkok and a group of us delivered the donations to Phaya Thai Babies Home. Staff at Phaya Thai were very grateful and a thank you letter is currently posted on the notice board at each School.

8th October 2005 Variety Show – Beneficiary Phaya Thai Babies Home

Yesterday’s variety show was a huge success, well done to all who participated and thank you for your kind donations to our beneficiary, Phaya Thai Babies Home. We’ll be visiting the Bangkok orphanage later this month.

April 23rd 2005 Reading for Recovery. Raises over HK$20,000! Read-a-thon & Book fair

Last Sunday’s event in Windsor House was a great day and we raised a massive amount of cash! The book fair saw your used books selling like ‘hot cakes’ and our series of auctions also brought in the dollars!

English Excel sponsored each student who took part in the read-a-thon, this amounted to a donation of HK$2,900.

Our official beneficiary UNICEF will be able to put the money raised to good use in tsunami recovery projects.
